- Only five subspecies of tiger exist in the world

What tigers eat
Tigers tend to prey upon and eat many medium and larger sized animals. Here is a list of foods commonly eaten by tigers.
- Sambar deer
- Wild Boar
- Water Buffalo
- Leopards
- Pythons
- Sloth Bears
- Crocodiles
- Sika Deer
- Moose
- Roe Deer
- Musk Deer that have fangs
- Camels
- Yak
- Antelope
Tigers are opportunistic hunters which means they will eat anything they can catch that they come upon. They sometimes eat smaller animals like monkeys, hares and fish.
